Bye weeks aren’t usually exciting for NFL teams, but this week benefited the Philadelphia Eagles in more ways than one.

The Philadelphia Eagles were coming off of a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. The victory helped move Philly back to a .500 record, and ‘The Birds’ headed back to the States and right into a bye week.

Truly, it couldn’t have come at a better time. This team appeared t be weary, and so did their coaches and fans.

Here’s an obvious statement. The 2018 regular season hasn’t gone as expected. The team and fans were hoping that this would be a year-long ride to another title, but so far, it hasn’t seemed that way. Sure, there were some gut-wrenching losses, and their record could be better.
