Monday was a busy day at the Novacare Complex as the Philadelphia Eagles began ‘Cowboys Week’. On Sunday, Philly welcomes a division rival.
It may seem like forever since the Philadelphia Eagles played the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it really wasn’t that long ago. It just seems like it because of all that’s happened since. The Eagles waived defensive tackle Bruce Hector (again) on October 30th and then re-signed him on November 2nd. They released defensive tackle Winston Craig in a corresponding move.
Then, on November 5th, they signed both cornerback De’Vante Bausby to the practice squad, which maxes them out there, and they claimed cornerback Cre’Von LeBlanc off of waivers before waiving cornerback Dexter McDougle who they had just signed on October 16th.
Oh, and by the way, they added some guy by the name of Golden Tate to help out an often-struggling receiving corps.
Check out some of the highlights:
All of that and we haven’t even brought up ‘Dallas Week’.
Philly has a busy day as they prepare to meet a division rival.
Monday was a busy day as the Eagles returned to the Novacare Complex. Offensive coordinator Mike Groh and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz both met with the media. Said media also took a little time to find Tate’s locker and ask him a few questions.
We even got some good news on defense as we learned that Tim Jernigan returned to the practice field. He’s been recovering after going under the knife on May 3rd.
He was added to the reserve/non football injury list to start the season and hasn’t appeared in a game all season. So far, there’s been no word on whether or not Jernigan will suit up and play when the Eagles meet the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
Here’s a little of the discussion with Philly’s new star receiver:

Did we mention that things have been a little busy? All of this would be big news anyway. When it all happens on the Monday prior to the Dallas game, things get heightened a little more.
The first of five remaining divisional games on the Eagles schedule is right around the corner.
