The Philadelphia Eagles are currently on a high after winning the Super Bowl. But the question that lingers in Eagles fan’s minds is “Will they repeat?”
The 2018 NFL season was a memorable one for the Philadelphia Eagles. The team spent most of the year on top when it came to rankings. Whether it was the offense or the defense carrying the team in games, the Eagles showed signs of being close to unstoppable at times.
The end of the season did not quite go as planned. The team had dealt with injuries all year long, and the biggest punch in the gut came in Week 14 when their star quarterback Carson Wentz went down. It took every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears, to push the team to success in the playoffs. So the Eagles played the role of the underdogs all postseason long. As everyone counted them out, they dug deep down and mustered up the strength to overthrow their toughest opponents.
Through the trials and tribulations, the Eagles proved every doubter wrong and achieved the ultimate success when they defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. The title was the team’s first Super Bowl championship in franchise history, and cemented the Eagles in NFL history. But the question remains, can they do it all again? Can the Eagles repeat their 2018 success, or are they all gassed out?
