Eagles release Daryl Worley following arrest

Daryl Worley’s stint in Philadelphia didn’t last long.Following his arrest Sunday morning, the Eagles would waste little time in releasing him.“Roster Move: Eagles have released CB Daryl Worley.”Back in March. the Eagles would receive Worley in a trade for wideout Torrey Smith. But after getting combative with a cop near their facility Sunday morning, that’s it. The third-year corner has 152 total tackles, 19 passes defensed, and three interceptions since 2016. Of course, this doesn’t come as too much of a surprise. Les Bowen would break the news earlier in the day:“My understanding is that it is likely, though not certain, that the Eagles will release cornerback Daryl Worley. Discussions being held among various parties.”However, Philadelphia has plenty of depth at the position. Though, there’s no so thing as too much depth when you’re looking to defend your Super Bowl title. In the meantime, which NFL teams is going to snatch up Worley?
